tell me more about choir rehearsals

Curtain Up Choir rehearses on a Monday evening during term time at St Stephen's Church Hall, Southside Road, Inverness.
Rehearsals start at 7:30pm
In our first term, we'll be doing songs from Dear Evan Hansen, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Rocketman and Disney!

what is the minimum age to join?

You must be 18 years of age to join the choir, there is no upper limit

I've never been in a choir before... can i join?

Absolutely, Curtain Up is for everyone who would like to sing musical theatre songs, and not have the pressure of doing a full musical.

how much does it cost?

Membership is on a term-by-term basis. Sessions are £6.50, payable at the start of term online.
The first session is free!
​August - October 2023 term cost is £45.50. 
We are unable to offer refunds for missed sessions. Full terms available on request and on sign-up.

Can i practise at home

Of Course! We have a dedicated members page which has backing tracks and sheet music so you can practise at home.

will we be doing concerts?

We will do an end of year concert for family and friends, where will sign with our very own Curtain Up House Band.
